The Perfect Evening Out

Sometimes, I think about having a perfect evening out with a lovely lady before I fall asleep. In order to make the perfect evening out, I believe that there must be a person you love the most with you. If I could make the plan I imagined real, it would involve things that would make both of us feel joyful about the fact that we are together. For example, we would begin by watching the vibrant sunset over the ocean while listening to out favorite love songs. When it gets dark enough, we would go out for a nice dinner to a restaurant with excellent service and go to the movie theater to spend time together. We could probably hold hands during the entire film. Then, we would go to a cafe and chat for hours. The last part of the plan would be to take a walk with her and to discuss how the evening was until we reached her house. At the very last moment, we would feel reluctant to leave each other and promise to spend time together again with a gentle kiss.

Let's Party!

According to Actor Robin Williams, "Spring is nature's way of saying, 'let's party!'", and I believe that it is very true. I agree with that statement he said because Spring is the time when everything in the nature wakes up and becomes reborn from the past seasons especially winter, when leaves fall and animals go to sleep. The process of little buds sprouting and all kinds of animals coming out to face the outside world seems to be nature's way of saying. It seems that nature is informing all the lives in the world that when it is spring season, it it is time for them to wake up and show their beauty. Also, when Robin Williams says "Let's party!" at the end, I think he means that since spring has come, and everything comes back to the world of refreshing and peaceful nature, spring is a perfect time to have a party.

"Dress for Success"

" Dressed for success" is a phrase that all of us have heard before, and it means something different to each person. For me, "Dressed for Success" has many meanings to it. Most importantly, it means to wear clothes that are as clean and neat as possible. For example, when you have an interview for a job, you should wear a jacket and tie in order to successfully give a good first impression. After this, I think personal appearance is the most important part of "Dressed for Success". You have to consistently keep your image fresh to continue to grab other people's attention. You have to dress for where you want to go, but not just where you are. Lastly, many people say that your smile is your  best accessory for a reason. For instance, if one smiles a lot, one will seem friendlier and easier to get along with.

When I Looked Up and Saw Cupid...

I am a normal student just like all other kids. Similar to all my friends, I also have a crush on someone and always hope to get closer to her. I have been planning for a long time on how I should walk up to her and ask her out. However, I looked up and saw Cupid last night, and I knew I was in trouble. I knew something bad would happen to me because I heard a rumor about the terrible Cupid, who causes people to fall in love with random things such as their bags, their desks, or even their shoes. While worrying about what could possibly happen to me, I went to school today, and saw cupid shooting his arrows at people. All of my friends were holding their stuff and kissing it. I felt scared that Cupid might do something to the girl I like, so I started looking for her. Then, I finally found her, and saw her hiding in a corner. Cupid also found where she was and pointed his bow at her. To save her, I jumped towards her and pushed her away from the arrow. When we noticed that we were safe, both of us started to run away from our school, and the girl decided to be my girlfriend as a gift for saving her from Cupid's arrow...

A Famous Entertainer I Want To Meet

If I have a chance to meet a famous entertainer, I would like to meet with Bruce Lee. There are many reasons why I want to meet him among all other famous entertainers. First of all, I want to meet him because I am a big fan of him since I was young. I used to see his movies all the time because of my father, who also was a big fan of Bruce Lee and watched his movies all the time. Accordingly, I spent a lot of time watching his action movies, and started to like his fancy movements and skills at martial art. Another reason is because I want to see his perfect body in real life. I heard many things about him, and what surprised me the most was that he has all the muscles in his body developed into the perfect shape. In consideration of this, this caused me to want to meet him since I became a big fan of him. Lastly, everyone in his or her childhood imagines themselves of being one of the super heroes or hopes to become like them when they grow up. Similar to all the other kids, I also had one of those role models, and it was Bruce Lee. I had even prayed to become like him in body shape, skills at martial arts, and charisma. Thus, thinking of how much I loved him and how badly I wanted to see him, I would like to meet with Bruce Lee if I have the opportunity to do so despite his death long time ago.

What I Like About Myself

When I was first asked this question about a favorite thing about myself, I could not think of anything. This was probably because I am not very confident about myself. However, having contemplated it for a while, I actually found many things that I like about myself. Among those things, I would like to talk about three of my good personality traits: being honest, being friendly, and being helpful.

First of all, I like the fact that I am always honest with everyone because it helps me with a variety of things in life. Being honest with people all the time enables me to earn the trust of others, which helps make a better and closer relationships with them. For example, if one is not honest at all and others catch him / her stealing their stuff, people around him are most likely not to trust him / her. Then, this will eventually bring them farther from that untrustworthy person. However, I, on the other hand, have always been honest, so I have been able to build good relationships with people around me.

Another favorite thing about myself is that I am very friendly to people. If I think back to the past, this personality trait has always been within me. I used to move around place to place transferring to different schools few times, and I think without my friendliness, I would not have made any friends at my previous schools. Thus, helping me to successfully adjust myself to different communities, I like this trait of being friendly.

Lastly, I am helpful to people around me, and it is one of my strengths. I like helping people because it gives both the person getting the help and the person giving the help a smile. For example, when I walk up to someone carrying heavy things and help them, it will make him smile and make me happy that I was helpful. Not only am I physically helpful, but also, I am academically helpful because I often help my friends out doing their homework or studying for exams.

Finding out many good things about myself, I realized that I have been always been able to maintain good relationships with teachers and friends wherever I was in the past. Consequently, I hope these characteristics of being honest, being friendly, and being helpful to others will help me again to successfully adjust to my current school, The Webb School.
